Colchester Farmers' Market

The Farmers' Market begins again on Wednesday, June 12, and runs until September 11. Each Wednesday, from 4-7 pm, the Market will take place rain or shine, and will feature local farmers, artisans, and food vendors. We'll also have new young entrepeneurs as well. Many weeks, we'll also have music - on June 12, the polka band "Inseldudler" will get us into a dancing mood from 5:30 - 7 pm. Limited parking is available at Burnham Library, with additional parking at Our Lady of Grace next door. You can find more information at their site - https://colchesterfarmersmarket.wordpress.com/

Reading Buddies

Are you a K-3 student looking to improve your reading skills who would like to read with an older student? Or are you a 5th grade or higher student, who has a spare half-hour per week this summer to help a younger kid keep her or his reading skills sharp? Join the Reading Buddies program! Stop by or call the Youth Services dept. for more info and to sign up by June 18 - the program starts on June 21. Mentors must attend a training program on June 20 at 7 pm. Here is more information on the program (PDF format):

Looking for Legos

Do you have any spare Lego® pieces? We are planning some fun activities, and need any Legos that you are finished playing with. All shapes and sizes welcome. If you are interested, come to our event on June 19, and let us know if you would like to join our Lego Club (coming in September).
